InstaView FAQ

Dear customers:

Please download the new instaviewsafe app from App store if your doorbell stops sending you motion notification. Because Apple changed the algorithm of push notification, our app changed accordingly.

Please feel free to call or message us at 847-899-1628 or email us at support@xlivepro.com for setup assistance.

If you did not see Instaview in your phone's Settings Wi-Fi network list, please use the included pin to RESET the doorbell by pressing and holding the reset button inside the reset hole on the back of the doorbell for seconds, it will talk,  you can release the pin now. After that, re-add the doorbell to your registered  account. You don't need to register a new account in the app.

If the setup fails at your first attempt, check your phone's Wi-FI list under the Settings - Connections( for Android); if it's not there, reset the doorbell.

The doorbell was tested well in the factory, The in-app setup process may vary due to different brands of Android devices.

If you get the error message below, there are 2 reasons:

1. When your phone is connecting to your home Wi-Fi 5GHZ network and far away from the doorbell. We suggest you connect your phone to 2.4GHZ of your home Wi-Fi and keep it near the doorbell.

2.Your doorbell may need a factory reset: check the Wi-Fi network list in your phone's "Settings" menu to see if "InstaView" is there.
